Ireland State Savings is proud to support Maths Week 2025

Maths Week 2025 takes place from 11 to 19 October. Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, this initiative reaches more than half a million people each year and inspires a love of maths across generations. This initiative helps children discover how fun maths can be through the joy of solving puzzles, spotting patterns and discovering new things.

For over 100 years, Ireland State Savings has helped people to save. Supporting Maths Week is a natural extension of this tradition, reflecting our commitment to financial literacy and helping people of all ages make confident money decisions.

Ireland State Savings worked with the Maths Week team to develop a range of engaging classroom and family activities that show how maths connects to real life, in particular simple counting and working out everyday costs. These include:

• The Squirrel Game for 1st and 2nd Class

• Shopping Spraoi and Money Sense for 5th and 6th Class

• A new online game and printable resources for different age groups

All activities are free to access and designed to make learning about saving, spending and maths both fun and interactive.
