How do I change the bank account associated with my State Savings holdings in State Savings Online?

To change your nominated personal bank account do the following:

  • Sign in to State Savings Online.

  • Go to ‘Profile and Settings’ and select ‘Change’ beside ‘Your Bank Details’.

  • Enter your new SEPA IBAN.

  • Confirm you are a named holder for the bank account.

  • Enter the Verification Code that was sent to your registered mobile phone number by SMS text message.

An email will be sent to your registered email address confirming the change of bank details on your State Savings Online. You will also receive a letter from State Savings confirming the change to your profile.

This IBAN will be saved and used for all of your future State Savings sole payments (online and/or offline) and the transfer of any sole Prize Bond winnings to your bank account if you have previously instructed us to process prize payments to your Bank Account.

If you have previously provided IBAN details to State Savings the IBAN you provide here will replace the existing details on our records.

Please be careful when providing your bank account details as if incorrect details are entered for your IBAN your payment might be delayed, or credited to the wrong account and may result in a financial loss to you.
