How do I add my bank account details to State Savings Online?

To add your nominated bank account details to your State Savings Online profile do the following: 

  • Sign in to your State Savings Online 

  • Go to ‘Profile and Settings’ and select ‘Add your bank details’ beside ‘Your Bank Details’.

  • Enter your SEPA IBAN 

  • Confirm you are a named holder on the bank account 

  • Enter the Security Code that was sent to your registered mobile phone number by SMS text message


An email will be sent to your registered email address confirming that bank details have been associated with your State Savings Online profile. You will also receive a letter from State Savings confirming the change to your profile.

This IBAN will be saved and used for all of your future State Savings sole payments (online and/or offline) and the transfer of any sole Prize Bond winnings to your bank account if you have previously instructed us to process prize payments to your bank account.

If you have previously provided IBAN details to State Savings, please note that the IBAN provided online will replace the existing details on our records.  

Please be careful when providing your IBAN as if incorrect details are entered your payment might be delayed, or credited to the wrong account which may result in a financial loss.
